Rolling Loud founder Tariq Cherif joins DJ Carisma & DJ Wavy for Saturday Night Loud! Tariq announces that Rolling Loud is returning to Inglewood at SoFi Stadium in March 2024, and reflects on how far the festival has come. He explains that Rolling Loud started as a festival built to give the subgenre of SoundCloud rap the platform it deserved, and he’s now celebrating the ten year anniversary of the largest hip hop festival in the world!

Tariq gives some insight on the lineup for Rolling Loud California, which is still to be announced, and gives Power 106 a hint at who might be on the lineup by saying that corridos will be represented at the upcoming festival. When asked by DJ Wavy about the magnitude of sponsorships the festival deals with, Tariq recalls when the festival struggled to even secure 2 sponsorships. Times have definitely changed, however, as the festival now works with over 40 top tier sponsors. Tariq also emphasizes the importance of supporting local businesses and being rooted in the community, and he encourages small businesses in Inglewood to contact Rolling Loud to get involved with the festival.

When asked by Carisma what his Rolling Loud lineup wish list is, Tariq states he would love to have Ye, Drake, and Jay-Z on the bill. Tariq also says Lil Wayne is the GOAT, shares plans for an upcoming Rolling Loud docuseries, and much more!
