Floyd Schofield Thought A Fake Oscar De La Hoya Account DM’d Him About Joining Golden Boy Promotions

Rising boxing star Floyd Schofield linked up with Power Mornings host Letty ahead of the much-hyped inaugural Golden Boy fight at Los Angeles’ YouTube Theater. As Schofield is looking for his come-up in the sport, his attitude and outlook on where he wants his career to go are driven by his love for boxing and he even carries the energy on him that everybody could get the smoke!

Prior to making his Pro debut, the Austin native shares that each fight he had always ended up with a knockout, and now his love for the physicality and strategy of the sport has him hungry for success. Floyd has been blessed to sign with Golden Boy, the 20-year-old shares how he signed with the Oscar De La Hoya-backed group, although as a teenager he thought he’d be signed with Floyd Mayweather.
