Snow Tha Product’s flowers are well overdue but the unfolding of her career at this moment makes it to be the perfect timing. The independent rapper is a woman of not only many talents, but she stands to represent a number of groups who are underserved. Although Snow does admit that being in her shoes comes with much pressure to uphold the feat while dotting many hats, the Cali native shares that she realized she’s making a huge difference even when she never completely understood.
Speaking with Power Mornings host Letty and Greg C, the “Que Oso” artist came through the Power 106 studios to chop it up about being a part of the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack and how the process of recording with Bay Area legend E-40 reassured her of her own prowess and capabilities in music. Snow initially expressed some hesitancy about being on the film’s soundtrack because she wanted to make sure the Mexican-American community was represented in a favorable light, which is something she heavily discussed with E-40 and helped navigate the content of “La Vida.”
Snow Tha Product has been very transparent in recent years, with her music and much of her personal life, as she’s released projects that detail her experiences with relationships and being a mother as well as being a fixture for the LGBTQ+ community,
Snow goes on to speak about her recent collab with our very own Justin Credible for a Bad Bunny remix, how juicy her biopic would be, and much more.
