Poo Bear is no stranger to chart-topping hits!

Since first securing 112’s “Anywhere” as his first introductory hit into the music business, at just 17 years old, Poo Bear has somewhat quietly worked his pen behind the scenes but now he’s officially stepped into the artist forefront with his latest project ‘The Book Of Nabeel.’ Stacked with 13 songs, Poo Bear’s unique and versatile style of writing, and R&B roots, are highlighted throughout the new album.

As Poo has amassed a great deal of success penning for artists, having his own solo career was a bit of a struggle to come to fruition as he explains to Power Mornings co-hosts Letty and Javen Cannon that it took some convincing from his friend and collaborator Justin Bieber. Admitting that he struggled with the idea of fans questioning the similarities in his music to huge stars he’s written for, Poo Bear takes time to acknowledge that it was Bieber who persuaded him to release music and not to pay attention to any comparisons.

Poo goes on to speak about how he worked on “Despacito,” his appreciation for terrestrial radio, and why Justin Bieber’s “Where Are You Now” is important to me.
