Robin Thicke is back in the building to chop it up with Power Mornings host Letty about his new Yo Gotti-assisted single “Brown Liquor.”

While Thicke reveals the song was initially slated to be featured on his previous project, the timing for this album era was more fitting as it’s a feel-good record and Thicke wants his fans to be “outside” to enjoy the vibe. The Grammy nominee connected with Yo Gotti for this record, but Robin is definitely no stranger to hip-hop as his undeniable and impressive catalog has many hits featuring a lot of our favorite hip-hop artists. Speaking on his connection to the culture, Thicke shares that he started listening to hip-hop as a kid being a fan of acts like Leaders Of The New School and Special K.

Robin Thicke goes on to speak about his new residency at Verse LA, where he’s not only performing some of his greatest tracks but unreleased material for the intimate setting and shares his experience on the hit show The Masked Singer.
