Armani White came through to the Power 106 studios to discuss the much-deserved success he’s currently soaking in, as his recent hit “Billie Eilish” is taking over your airwaves and has made major noise in the Tik Tok universe.
Chopping it up with our midday host Bryhana, White speaks on being the underdog from his hometown of Philly and expresses why it’s important to him to be a part of the Mount Rushmore of artists from the Pennsylvania city. While the rapper admits that he knows he’s worked extremely hard to get to this moment, the support he’s received from the likes of Tom Brady and others still catches him by surprise.
Describing his style and sound as “Happy Hood” music, White shares with Bry that music has helped him get through some of his darkest moments just by creating songs that help him get back to happier times.
Armani White goes on to share his hopes of performing at Coachella, collating with The Game, Latto, and Tems, and even shares his first experience going to the strip club.
