West Coast rap legend Too $hort is NPR’s lastest guest on their Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series.
“How many artists you know that got relevant records in five decades?”
The Bay Area staple performed a setlist that spanned from the ‘80s to present day, including popular hit “Blow the Whistle,” “Ain’t My Girlfriend,” and more.
Surrounded by classic speakers, jukeboxes and records, the “at-home” concert gave us more of a initimate feel in what looked to be a garage. $hort also performed his collaboration “Big Subwoofer” with fellow West Coast legends Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and E-40.
This is definitely a must watch performance and will have you dancing in your cubicle at work. Watch Too Short’s “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” performance above.
