Eric Bellinger has transformed what it means to be EB and while every step of the way has prepared him for what he’s experiencing now, the novel coronavirus pandemic put him in a place of deep reflection and acceptance.

Pulling up to the Power 106 studios to speak with midday host Bryhana, Bellinger details his new album “New Light” and the inner healing that he went through that brought him “out of the darkness and into new light.” As Eric admits that he omitted a lot of things in life, without facing them head-on, the R&B crooner explains that he now is more self-aware and has taken a deeper look into his flaws and things in life that he has swept under the rug. Bellinger also admits to Bryhana that he has come to terms with the passing of his late sister and his new album is a direct reflection of where he is in life now.

Bellinger goes on to detail how his collabs with Brandy, Dom Kennedy, and The Game all came together and shares why Ty Dolla $ign slacked on getting in his verse feature.
