Justine Skye has been holding down her place in the industry for years, as she was first signed at the age of 17 and while she’s learned a lot from her early experiences, the R&B songstress is now reveling in her own success as an independent artist.

Speaking with Power 106 Midday host Bryhana, the ‘Space And Time’ singer details how the power of social media and the unforeseen impact of the 2020 global pandemic led her to find a musical connection with legendary producer Timbaland. Skye shares that while social media can be daunting, a simple direct message goes a long way as Tim sparked creative chemistry between the two for her latest project.

The two began working remotely through the pandemic after Tim persuaded and encouraged her to write original collabs that eventually turned into a full effort. Not only was she able to connect with the famed Virginia native, Justine also worked closely with Justin Timberlake who gave her some sound advice by the end of their time working together.

Justine speaks on ‘Space + Time’ being a “bad b**** manual,” which she explains is only about your energy and the power and confidence you have that is not always on the surface.

Justine also goes on to speaks on working with Rema, what fans can expect next, and how she loves binge-watching new television shows.
