Plans have been revealed for the first sustainable city on Mars.
The ABIBOO, an architecture studio, has revealed plans for the creation of what they are considering being the “first sustainable city on Mars” called Nüwa.Construction for Nüwa will begin 2054 on Tempe Mensa. The city will feature a population of 250,000 and is located inside the rock of a steep cliff. This is to protect those there from radiation, but will still provide access to indirect sunlight.

Launch windows will open every 26 months with a one-way ticket costing $300,000 and there will be a shuttle for people to return to earth when need be. Check out the proposed layout and let us know if you plan to save.
