Welp, the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion saga continues on…
The unfortunate event between Lanez and Meg has played out over social media since the incident took place in the summer of last year. While many have sadly taken sides, grown tireless about the situation, and still express great empathy for both parties, it looks like the latest news to come out of court is a recent win for Houston native Megan. Back in October 2020, Tory was ordered to stay away from Meg but in the following months Lanez expressed how the treatment of him not being able to publicly speak on the case was unfair, so he presented his concerns to the court, and now a judge has denied him this right.

As both Meg and Lanez continue to take to social media to share their sides of the story, Lanez’d January request to be able to speak publicly was denied Thursday morning, February 25. According to Page Six, Lanez’s attorney, Shawn Holley, argued at the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles Thursday that the protective order barring him from talking was “unfair” since it does not also apply to Megan.
The judge ultimately determined that Lanez’s protective order should remain in place and that Meg still does not have an order that silences her.
