Last week, Logic took to social media to much of his fans’ surprise to announce that he would be stepping away from his rap career to focus solely on fatherhood.
Sharing news of his approaching retirement, Logic, real name Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, tweeted a short message to his loyal Ratt Pack saying, “Officially announce my retirement with the release of “No Pressure” executive produced by No I.D. July 24th…” While the album has yet to spawn any new singles, wrapping up Logic’s decade run, Joe Budden decided to share his thoughts o the rapper’s bow and he believes Hall should have wrapped up in his career “a long time ago”.
Officially announcing my retirement with the release of “No Pressure” executive produced by No I.D. July 24th…
It’s been a great decade. Now it’s time to be a great father.

Budden criticized Bobby T. on his latest installment of the Joe Budden podcast where he stated, “Logic, you don’t get to announce this. What the f*ck is he talking about? ‘Cause we don’t care.” Joe continued to stand firm against his co-hosts opinions that his fans would care that he’s retiring from the rap game, further stating, “They happy that he’s leaving. Why you think I got the f*cking celebration song queued up, man? Let’s celebrate Logic getting the f*ck outta here, n***a. You should’ve retired a long time ago, Logic.”
The JBP crew went on to joke that Logic’s upcoming ‘No Pressure’ album would be subpar without even listening to it.
