As we get closer to the 4th of July weekend, Governor Gavin Newsom announced today that California will be forcing certain sectors of the economy for 3 weeks. Businesses affected are restaurants, movie theaters, family entertainment centers, museums, zoos, and cardrooms.

The new rules go into effect effective immediately in the following SoCal counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura.

Beaches in Los Angeles County and Ventura County will also be closed during the long 4th of July holiday weekend. As of right now the only OC beach closed for the weekend will be Laguna Beach.

Looking for a local fireworks display for the family? Unfortunately, most shows have been canceled. However, for those who still need to get their firework-fix in – AmericaFest will be presenting a virtual 4th of July celebration. Click here to register for the event.
