The Queen adds another diamond to her crown! Beyonce Presents: “Making the Gift” airs at 10 tonight (EDT) on ABC.

Viewers can follow Beyonce through Africa while she works on the Lion King album “The Lion King: The Gift.” The documentary certainly is a gift to us all as we get the inside scoop and behind the scenes of her interviews, and the making of the album that shook the beehive!

The Parkwood Entertainment/ Columbia Records album was released earlier this summer in tandem with the live-action Disney remake of The Lion King.

As the executive producer of the transcendent music reflected in the album, Beyonce brought together groundbreaking artists from Africa and well known American artists to translate common themes of the movie to a global audience.

Fans can look forward to viewing the roots of her inspiration in Egypt, Nigeria, and South Africa and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the dynamic continent.
