Logic has already had quite a year, but it isn’t over yet. Lately he’s adapted an entrepreneur mindset and is getting his hands on a number of different projects. He debuted his first novel, Supermarket a “darkly funny psychological thriller” according to its website description. He followed up with a soundtrack for the book, released a single “Homicide”, and album ‘Confessions of a Dangerous Mind’.
His latest power move was the name change of his record label Elysium Records to BobbyBoy Records. Logic launched his label back in 2017, “Elysium was created mainly because I don’t trust anybody with the precious cargo that is my family, I wanted to create a place where they can feel free and literally do whatever they want because this is so much more than just music” the star said via a YouTube video uploaded to his page. Logic made the announcement of the name change this morning saying that “I really feel like BobbyBoy is becoming an empire, it’s just really been a beautiful creative space and I want that name and that brand to mean something. I’d rather have all of my endeavors in one place.”
The rapper has mentioned he has already signed some new artists to the label but hasn’t said who yet. Fans were left surprised after Joyner Lucus, a former rival of Logic, expressed interest in getting a deal with the label, commenting on his Instagram post saying that “I wanna be on Bobby boy records can you sign me please.” Logic shows no signs of stopping anytime soon, and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
