1TakeJay visits the Power 106 studios to talk about the inspiration behind his single “Hello”, paying homage to Suga Free through music, and more!

Speaking on the success of “Hello” Jay says that a past relationship and Instagram inspired him to actually write the track. While he used the social media platform to his advantage to promote his music and grow his fan base, Jay shares that he has been getting hit up left and right from his fans about this weekend’s The Liftoff Concert! Jay tells Cece and Teddy Mora, “This Saturday it’s really gonna to be a movie. It;s really going to be big. A lot of people been hitting me in the DM, like, ‘what time do you perform? I’m only coming for you!’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, like that? That’s how you feel?’ 1 Take continues saying, “What I got in store for yall? Well, I don’t know. If you tune in to my IG, you know that when I perform, I perform, so, y’all just gonna have to come see!”

1Take also goes on to talk being compared to Kevin Hart, talks how he believes he stays relevant by being a “character”, and plays a Throwback Thursday game.
