On Tuesday, the Department of Children and Family services will be taking special interest in the custody case of Nipsey Hussle’s 10-year-old daughter, Emani. According to court records obtained by The Blast, Tuesday’s hearing is for the emergency placement of Nipsey’s daughter.

It was initially reported that Hussle’s sister, Samantha, wants to be the legal guardian of the child. Apparently Emani’s biological mother, Tanisha, wasn’t formally notified, but wants to have an active role in raising her child.

Nipsey’s mother, Angelique, was also invited to attend the hearing on Tuesday. The family wants Emani to be around people she is familiar with, and grow up in a stimulating environment.

Unfortunately, Nipsey didn’t have a will in place, which is making things difficult. His family is now trying to pick up the pieces that were left behind.

It is unknown if Emani’s mother, Tanisha, will take action and battle against the late Nipsey’s entire family for custody.

We will just have to wait and see what happens in court on Tuesday.

Stay tuned for more details regarding the custody case.
