DaBaby checks in with the L.A. Leakers at Power 106 to talk about his new album ‘Baby on Baby’ , the importance of consistency, “Suge” and more.
Justin got straight to it and asked him about his debut album Baby on Baby. The rapper calls it “the hardest s***” out and explains that all of his collabs are natural and genuine. He says him and Stunna go way back, Rich Homie Quan hit him up as well well as Offset, who dm’d him and told him to pull up to the studio.
The North Carolina rapper gave advice to aspiring rapper on keeping their social media game on point. “It’s major man.” he says. “You wanna control your message, you wanna control your image. You wanna control all that. The less you control the more of yourself you’re giving away.” He continued to say, “I just feel like it’s major to remain hands on, keep you identity thats what make you great at the end of the day you just wake up and be you.”
The “Next Song” rapper also discussed if he would ever again wear the infamous diaper, which gained him a ton of attention. “I can be creative in 1,000 different ways. That was a good idea two years ago but I got better ones.”
