Hailing from Florida, YNW Melly has had an explosive past few months. Blowing up with his single “Mixed Personalities” featuring Kanye West himself, the 300 Entertainment signee recently unleashed his highly-anticipated mixtape titled We All Shine. Now, he stops by Power 106 for an exclusive interview with DJ Felli Fel!

Speaking on how he linked with Kanye for the hit single, Melly states, “He heard my music in Paris. He liked my sound. He said it’s different and unique. He heard ‘Blue Balenciagas’, but that’s just my entrance. He heard ‘Slaying That Iron’ and he was like ‘oh yeah, fly him.’ He flew me to LA and then I just showed him some of my music. When he heard that song, he was just like ‘I gotta get on this bro.’ Basically, ‘I’m not leaving.'”
