Looks like Lil Uzi Vert is not retiring music after all. He made an announcement in January of 2019 that he was “quitting music,” but from the looks of what Quavo is saying, his plans may be changing.

Quavo, Huncho of the Migos, took to Twitter earlier today with the tweet “M I G O S x U Z I 2 k 1 9” hitting at a possible collaboration.

The Migos have been on a success high since last year; they came out with their third studio album Culture II, went on tour with Drake, and most recently featured on Mustard’s Pure Water. So this Migos and Uzi collaboration will easily put Uzi back on everyone’s radar.

The last we heard from the Philly rapper was his single “New Patek” back in 2018. He had plans to release his second studio album Eternal Atake, but it seems the production of the album has been put on hold since his retiring announcement. Not to mention, Migos and Uzi have history working together. They came out with “Bad and Boujee,” which reached the number one spot on US Billboard’s Hot 100 a few months after its release. Hopefully this new single will produce the same results.

Look out for Migos and Lil Uzi Vert’s track this year!
