Meek Mill exposes footage of his grandmother’s house getting vandalized in South Philadelphia.
Just two weeks after the release of “Championship,” the rapper releases surveillance footage on social media of his grandmother’s house getting spray painted racist slurs. A white man is seen walking up to her home and spray paints “ACORN” in white, a term that is reportedly associated with the white power movement and neo-Nazis.
Meek is in the process of filing an official report with the police. However, the rapper still took matter in his own hands and told the suspect on Twitter “Just don’t let us catch you coward!” Apparently Philly police said that the “ACORN” term was sprayed at a different location, and that racist graffiti has been spreading. No other information has been released, but Meek blames the hate on gentrification.
