Lil Wayne and Birdman recently made amends during Lil Weezyana Festival, where the Cash Money honcho publicly apologized for the long-lasting riff between the two New Orleans rappers.

After a lengthy battle with his home label Cash Money, Tunechi is officially the sole of Young Money.. Revealing to Billboard, the “Rich Sex” rapper confessed that he settled for an undisclosed sum. As a result, Wayne will now be releasing the highly anticipated Tha Cater V album all while attaining ownership of the CM imprint and holding on to his distribution deal with Republic.

“Just the confidence in knowing that there’s always a tomorrow and I’m going to make sure that tomorrow is bright. Some people can’t go on [like] that, like, ‘OK, tomorrow will be better.’ They need it to be better right now. And thank God I didn’t, and I never did.”

The Cater V emcee also describes his now relationship with his father-figure Birdman, details why Nicki Minaj will always be Queen, as well as discussing what new music will be featured on the forthcoming album.
