This just in. DMX has made the conscious decision of opting out of house arrest to check into rehab. Per TMZ, X reports, “House arrest wasn’t working for me, so I made the decision to do something positive and better for myself.” It looks like the X will be getting treatment for substance abuse at a facility in New England.

X was ordered house arrest due to tax evasion. Now, the judge has officially approved DMX to enter a rehab program. The best part? No need for a GPS ankle monitor. In addition, it seems the rapper will also be working on new music. 

DMX states, “My pen is still to the paper and I’m in beast mode.”
