One of California’s very own Celly Ru joins Carisma in the studio. This NorCal rapper has made a name for himself with songs like “Krazy,” “A Hunnid,” and “God As My Witness.” This is his first time in the studio for an interview but has graced the halls with Mozzy in the past.
From the jump, Carisma gives Northern California rappers their flowers because they bring “so much sauce to the game.” Celly Ru talks about how important family is in his new album “Money, Family Respect” which dropped on January 27th. He said he made his album’s name “Money, Family, Respect” his motto.
Celly Ru talks about the process of making his album “I’m not going to lie some of the songs are like 2 years old, Celly Ru said, “I didn’t drop all last year. This project has been done for a minute but then I started rearranging tracks.” He mentions his newest song on the album is with OHGEESY and Carisma calls it a banger.
He gets personal in this interview and lets us know who his biggest inspiration coming up in the game and where he got his name.
