Ahead of her February 11th live appearance at Los Angeles’ iconic venue The Wiltern, comedian Anjelah Johnson stopped by the Power 106 studios to chop it up with Power Mornings host Letty about her much-anticipated show.
Having been in Los Angeles for over 20 years, the Bay Area native reflects on what the city means to her and how she remembers listening to her cousin, Joe Grande, on Power back in the day. Anjelah came up in Cali, where she first focused on her role as a cheerleader for the Raiders, which led her to acting, and eventually to her comedy career.
Anjelah goes on to speak about the religious reasoning why she decided to change her name’s spelling and much more.
