There’s no question that the culture of Los Angeles has been greatly impacted and plagued with the effects of street lifestyle, and LA native RJ is steadfast in sharing those real-life experiences in his music. Noting that he has much left to achieve in his career, RJ tells Letty, of the Power Mornings show, that he doesn’t want to lose the essence of the West Coast originality that has shaped much of hip-hop today.

RJ goes on to speak about the lanes that LA rappers have found themselves to be successful in, his Roddy Ricch feature, and much more.
