Nick Cannon stepped up to the LIFTOFF show to take on his inaugural L.A. Leakers Freestyle with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk.
For the 146th installment of the coveted series, Cannon definitely had to get some things off his chest for his nearly 10-minute freestyle where he shined light on social injustice, addressed his naysayers who don’t support his music career and even took aim at his haters who comment on his growing family and having Mariah Carey as his ex-wife. Cannon takes on two tracks featuring EARTHGANG’s “Power” and the UGK classic “Int’l Player’s Anthem.”
In the freestyle Cannon spits, “ I’m over here painting pictures and y’all worried about the captions. Just read below right here, in the comments, and I promise, it’s happening. They got’ b like, “That n**** ain’t snappin’, Cannon give up on that rappin’, that’ll never go platinum.” Nick continues the verse spitting, “But my haters say I’m overrated, y’all quit all of that cappin’! Ain’t no way a n**** from Nickelodeon going’ to be flowin’ like that man. ‘He too old to do that again, need to go back to hosting shows, and being Mariah’s hype man!’”
