One thing about Soulja Boy, he gon’ make sure y’all know that he will always be the first to do anything in hip-hop AND that the love isn’t always reciprocated for putting his industry peers on in the game.
Recently taking to Instagram Live, the “She Make It Clap” rapper had to get some things off his chest as he took a moment to address a few of his fellow rap peers, which included the Migos trio, Lil Durk, Famous Dex, Rich The Kid, and more. According to Soulja, acts like Durk, Migos, Mozzy, Lil B, and others have all ghosted him after he helped put them on by giving them “free” verses while they were still on the come up and still “in the hood.” Soulja states, “I always work with a artist before they pop off. Look at me and Migos. Look at me and Rich The Kid. Look at me and Mozzy. Look at me and Lil B. Look at me and RiFF RAFF. Look at me and Famous Dex. How many rapper n***as I done worked with before they got popping—before they got a record deal? I’m always doing a song with a n***a before they get signed.”
Soulja goes on to continue to run down the artists he’s worked with before they became successful themselves, but he also points out that Rich The Kid and Chief Keef were the only two to collab with the vet rapper following their previous efforts years ago. Soul later explains that he’s ghosted by everyone once they get put on and states, “N***as ain’t real. No cap.”
