After being released from prison nearly one year ago, the energy that has surrounded Bobby Shmurda has been on complete 100 and it’s definitely not coming down any time soon.

Stopping through to the Power 106 studios to chop it up with DJ Carisma for the latest installment of the “Checc’d In” series, Shmurda had much to share about his new music and how he’s continuing to enjoy his life and opportunities after six years behind bars. With a new album on the way, the “Shmoney” emcee shares he has a full documentary in the works, as well as expected album collabs with DaBaby, Rowdy Rebel, Rich The Kid, and more, Bobby does share that he hopes to work with Adele.

Admitting that he doesn’t want to be looked at as just a “rapper,” Bobby reveals that he wants his artistry to be more than just music and nods Snoop Dogg as someone he is inspired by when it comes to longevity and legacy.

Shmurda goes on to share his plans on dipping into NFTs and entering the metaverse, and also speaks on one of the craziest moments that’s happened to him since being released.
