ABC News is set to air a new one-hour special called “Superstar: Kobe Bryant,” highlighting the late NBA legend both on and off the court.
Kobe Bryant has been described as an “assassin on the court,” but as soon as he saw his daughters “the cape came off” and he was seen as a loving father. | Wednesday: #SuperstarABC: #KobeBryant premieres at 10/9c and stream next day on @Hulu. https://t.co/0I7ypPXmNd pic.twitter.com/6Xa5j3l8iM

In the special, ABC will follow Kobe’s evolution, including his rise from a gifted young basketball superstar to a five-time NBA Champion with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Most of his story comes from the late NBA star himself and the television event will touch on his triumph, indiscretions, his personal life, and his tragic death in which we are still totally baffled about.
“Superstar: Kobe Bryant” airs on ABC August 18th at 10P EST and if you miss it, you’ll be able to watch it the following day on Hulu or via on-demand. Check out the trailer above and stay tuned!
