Supposedly, j Cole is preparing to play a few games in both FIBA’s Basketball African League and the NBA.

In a tweet, Rwandan newspaper The New Times reportedly listed Cole as one of the four foreign players for the Patriots, a Kigali-based club. However, neither Cole nor his management has confirmed the news.

Africac’s Basketball league was announced back in 2018 and formally introduced this year. The first season will officially kick off May 16 and will include 12 teams with at least eight local players and up to four foreign players.

I guess this confirms Master P’s claim to TMZ Sports of Cole training to play in NBA. According to the mogul, he told Cole “…this a different time we’re in. They’re going to pick you apart! You’re gonna have to be able to hit every shot and if you don’t hit every shot, they — you know in the NBA, they don’t hit every shot but they believe in them. So, you’re gonna have to go somewhere where the team really believes in you and the players believe in you.”

We’re excited about this new venture of J. Cole’s, but with the new ‘The Off-Season’ album dropping’ May 14th and the brand new documentary that just dropped today, will he have time to juggle it all? I guess we will have to wait and see.
