LeBron James has suffered a high ankle sprain and is out indefinitely.

The injury took place mid-way through the 2nd quarter of this past weekend’s match up between the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks. While going for a loose ball, the NBA Superstar’s right ankle tripped over by Solomon Hill of the Hawks and it turned outward. Ouch! Despite that, James stayed on the floor for one more possession, knocking down a corner three before being substituted out by Coach Frank Vogel.

For the Lakers, this might be no bueno. I mean, we’re missing Davis. But LeBron assures he’s on the road to recovery and will return as soon as he can.
