One of Sacramento’s finest R&B crooners MarMar Oso came through to Checc in with DJ Carisma to speak about his come up from his church beginnings to reaching new heights after starting to record music in 2018. While MarMar had previously dropped early projects, it wasn’t until G-Eazy blessed him with a feature on his “Ruthless” remix which also showed an appearance from rapper Quando Rondo. Linking with one of Bay Area’s finest, G-Eazy and Georgia’s own Rondo, during the video shoot for “Ruthless” MarMar took a moment to thank the rappers for being a part of the project and being an inspiration. MarMar goes on to speak on stepping out from his hometown for put on for himself and his community, why Drake inspired his debut album, working with Eric Bellinger, and his dream collab would be tow work with Jazmine Sullivan.
