Verzuz has without a doubt saved us during Quarantine!
From epic battles featuring some of our favorite artists like last week’s Snoop Dogg and DMX showdown and the VIBED out session between Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, the Verzuz Battle has allowed us resurface timeless music and hilarious social media moments.
As we wait to see who will be the next duo to step up to the Verzuz call, Twitter fans started vouching for a Usher vs. Chris Brown show down. As Breezy fans pulled out all receipts of a possible Verzuz crown, throngs of Usher fans came to bat for the long-standing artist as well. But, over the weekend, Brown took to his social media accounts to let everyone know that he has no time for the “CAP’ nor a battle, as many eager fans debated on who would win between Usher and Brown.
Posting to his Instagram, Chris wrote, “What we not gone do is CAP. I could do a vs off features alone… So I’ll humbly decline… I’m busy doing nothing.”
While there is no denying that Breezy has bangers and chart topping hits of his own and Usher has certified classics and has proven to be an Icon in music, that definitely did not stop the Twitter debates from sparking. Peep what fans were saying about the possible match up below!
