We are definitely a long road ahead of us to be able to experience our favorite artists live and in person. With the effects of COVID-19, we still have been able to become more intimate with our faves via live streams and live social Q & A’s but this time around, LA native Roddy Ricch gave us all some hope for the feeling of a live concert experience.
Taking NPR’s Tiny Desk concert up quite a few notches, the Grammy winner re-dubbed the series Tiny Garage and tapped his full eight-piece band 1500 or Nothin’. Set at the iconic West Coast Customs body shop with subtle lighting, a huge car tire, keyboard, and a special appearance from Ty Dolla $ign.
Ricch went through all of his notable Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial hits including specially arranged “High Fashion” and “War Baby” as well as “Perfect Time”, “Bacc Seat”, and of course the number one charting “The Box”.
