Superstar Rihanna has definitely stepped up to aid during the coronavirus pandemic and has always supported and been outspoken on the social justice issues that our country has now magnified. Ri has partnered with CEO Twitter Jack Dorsey to, once again, open that BAG for an amazing cause.

As schools and universities throughout the world have been closed down due to the coronavirus, with many teachers and students holding online courses, classrooms are now heavily relying on the use of technology and internet access to continue higher education. The Fenty Mogul and Twitter honcho came together to donate a total of 4,000 tablet computers to schools across the nation of Barbados.

The Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Amor Mottley announced Tuesday, June 7, that Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation and Dorsey’s Start Small Foundation teamed up for the generous act. As this isn’t the singer’s first efforts of providing support, the “Believe It” songstress has donated well over $11 million to racial justice issues and over $5 million to organizations assisting with relief efforts in America, the Caribbean and Africa.
