After his passing, there was a spike in album sales and streaming numbers, which is typical when an artist passes. He averaged close to 2 million streams before his death, but that number quickly jumped to 10 million the day of his passing and and 57 million the following day.
900,000 to 9.7 million the day he passed.
Nip’s Grammy nominated “Victory Lap” debuted at No.4 on the Billboard’s 200 album charts and peaked at the No. 2 spot in April 2019. It spent 49 weeks on the chart.
