Laila Ali stopped by Nick Cannon Mornings to talk about what pushes her to continue setting the bar high. The famed former professional boxer talked about being an early influence to women in the game, the leadership and inspiration she received from her late father Muhammad Ali, and also discusses life as a mogul balancing family life and business.
Laila is the daughter of the late legendary, Muhammad Ali, a heavyweight champion. Laila told Nick she got her work ethic from her father, “Its something that’s definitely embedded within me, you think about my dad, Muhammad Ali, and how he literally changed the world by just taking a stance, and standing up for what he believed in.” She also says, “those are big shoes to fill,” but she is not looking to fill them.
Nick asks Laila what is one gem her father instilled in her, and she uses to this day. She said, “There are so many things but definitely never stepping on others to get ahead.” Laala Ali is a boss women with her own shoes to fill.
