The Bay Area legend E-40 is gifting people even on his birthday. He is teaming up with Chamillionaire to fund minority start-ups with 100k. The contest is backed by social app Convoz and the investing platform Republic.co. The Shark Daymond John from Shark Tank will host the 100k Pitch Competition.

In an interview Chamillionaire spoke about the contest and how he had to narrow down the qualifications, “At one point I was getting 30 candidates a month, but when I said I only wanted to invest in women or minorities, I started getting just two candidates a month . . . Being an entrepreneur isn’t easy, but it’s even harder for minority and women-led companies.”

The duo took to Instagram to advertise their contest , “Attention Entrepreneurs: Chamillionaire ya boy E40 and Joinrepublic will be INVESTING $100k in a minority or woman founded startup and Daymond John will be helping us choose the winners…,” In order to participate you must download the convoz app. Gook Luck to all tech queens!
