The female rapper had only been dating Kenneth “Zoo” Petty for about eight months, but the two seem madly in love and have actually known each other for almost 20 years.

Back in March, Nicki gave us a little back story of the love they’ve had for each other.

The couple filed for a marriage license back in June and it’s only good for 90 days, so the two have till the end of this month to make it official.

TMZ reports the rapper plans to have a phase two of the nuptials. They don’t seem to be in a rush, but sources say there are talks of a church ceremony and perhaps an extravagant reception with friends and loved ones.

Nicki has always been the extravagant type, but this love thang has her mellowed out and keeping her private life low-key.
