Ever since Nicki Minaj rapped “Ay yo I been on, b**** you been con, Bentley tints on, Fendi prints on” in her catchy single “Chun Li,” a tiny little Fendi collab embryo has been baking in the uterus of the Fashion Industry. And as of two days ago, the collection made it’s way into the world.
The “Prints On” capsule collection is a 127-piece collaboration between Nicki and Fendi that “marries the luxury label’s playful yet sophisticated aesthetic with Minaj’s signature whimsy,” according to Elle. The ready-to-wear collection features things like swimwear, handbags, sunglasses, and footwear.
Nicki and friends celebrated the launch last night at the Fendi store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
In an interview before the lauch, Nicki said the line is, “for everyone who wants to show skin. We all go to the beach, we all get sexy, we all have sex, we all bust it open!” YESSSS!
