Phora is one of this generation’s most favorited artists, and this comes to life full-heartedly in his real-life performances. Most recently, the Anaheim rapper shut down The Roxy in Los Angeles on his Bury Me With Dead Roses Tour, in light of his most recent project. Power 106 caught up with the “Love is Hell” artist backstage on night one of two sold-out shows at venue on Sunset Blvd. for our latest segment of Before The Show w/ @shirju.

Speaking on why he chose The Roxy after having sold out bigger venues such as The Novo, he states, “I just wanted a more intimate venue. I wanted to connect with the fans. I want to be able to see each and every person in the venue, look at them, and make it feel like I’m talking to them — because I am.”
