As of now, Kanye West’s forthcoming album Jesus Is King, hasn’t dropped…YET!
A lot of new music was scheduled to drop today, but one of the most anticipated was definitely Kanye West’s gospel album, Jesus Is King. Kim Kardashian was the first to announce the album, later confirmed on Ye’s website; but as the day drew near, fans were worried that history may repeat itself, as it did with his Yandhi album.
Technically the day is not over though, and things may be looking up for Kanye fans! The Fox Theatre in Detroit released an announcement today via the venue’s Twitter account. Kanye is set to hold, “Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience” tonight at the theatre. The event is FREE and open to the public.
JUST IN: Kanye West will bring “Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience” to #TheFox tonight at 8PM. Guests are encouraged to arrive early. Doors open at 6:30PM. Tickets are free, general admission and only available via https://t.co/Sf9zcR6qqf. pic.twitter.com/1VPsHAin4T

If you are local to the Detroit area, or just happen to be visiting, you may be in luck! For the rest of us though, don’t get your hopes up to see videos popping up all over the internet like his Sunday Service. According to the Twitter thread, the event will be PHONE-FREE including smart watches! Phones will be taken upon entry, and held in a “YONDR pouch” during the show. AND I OOP—
The tour has partnered with YONDR and upon entry with the mobile ticket, cell phones and smart phones will be locked in a YONDR pouch until after the show.
