The “Truth Hurts signer took to social media to announce that she is joining the likes of Lil Nas X and Drake because she has broken a MAJOR record. Her caption reads, “Truth Hurts is officially the longest solo female rap #1 in history. I fell in love with music when I was 9 years old… I had no idea our love affair would go this far. Good to know it was all worth it. Don’t run away from what your heart wants. Follow that bitch to ur destiny.”

The news was confirmed on Twitter by both Billboard and Chart Data. Lizzo’s girl power anthem has sat atop the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks; and in doing so, now has the longest reign for a rap No. 1 by a female artist without any features. Cardi B previously held the record with “Bodak Yellow” which spent 3 weeks on the chart.
