Nicki is not tolerating ANY slander on her name, period!
On the last episode of Queen radio Nicki came for Joe Budden with the RECEIPTS and is calling people out for jumping on the “Nicki hate train.” This time she addressed Rick Ross for speaking on her in his 2017 track “Apple Of My Eye.”
Nicki and Ross used to run in the same circles don’t forget. When the Queen rapper was dating Meek Mill he was was signed under Ross. Then when things went left and they broke up, Ross rapped “I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki/Instead of beefin’ with your dog, you just give ’em some distance.”
This did NOT go over well with Nicki who says Ross switched up on her. In the audio below, we hear her on the Joe Budden podcast and she says, “I went and sat down in a meeting with Obama, President Obama, and Ross was there,” she explains. “He texted dude (Meek) after the meeting and said, ‘Yo, this chick is a keeper.’ I saw the text myself with my own eyes. ‘This chick is a keeper. She went in a room full of rappers and spoke to Obama and the first thing out of her mouth was about you and figuring out your probation situation and why you’re still on probation after all these years.'”
But she wasn’t finished and she wasn’t done. Then she continued, “And then you come out on an album, when it’s time to sell some weak-ass f***in’ album, and try to disrespect Nicki Minaj?” Well well well, things are getting mighty spicy y’all.
