A recent study has left some people hesitant to order food from food delivery apps.
In a survey conducted by US Foods, nearly 30% of drivers admitted to snacking from the food they are supposed to be delivering and almost 20% of customers said they’ve had an experience where their food was only left at the door.
While some customers said they didn’t think it was a big deal, many upset customers responded saying that they believe restaurants should invest in “tamper-evident labels” to help fix this issue.
Some delivery services have already taken action in using sticker seals, and others have yet to respond.
