Although Kanye was NOT the first to make the words “Sunday Service” A THING, it looks like it is now, HIS THING.
Back In April the “Sunday Service” merch at Coachella was all any one was talking about. There was word then that he was filing a trademark so he could roll out an offical line of the merch but he hadn’t officially done so, until now.
TMZ reported that Ye filed the documents to copyright “Sunday Service” for the use of clothing, dresses, footwear, and other types of merchandise. IF the trademark is cleared you can bet you’ll see the merch on a hipster near you in the near future. All jokes aside though, Kanye has faced some backlash for people accusing him of “monetizing off of faith”, take a look at some tweets below:
