Jay is embarking on yet another new business venture.

Today news broke that the billionaire rapper is entering into a multi-year partnership with Caliva. Jay will as the Chief Brand Strategist for the California based cannabis company. His duties will include leading the outreach efforts and development for the brand, and helping former inmates get secure jobs in the rapidly growing cannabis industry.

Mr. Carter is now joining the ranks of a slew of other artists in hip-hop who saw dollar signs in cannabis. Game has his own weed brands called Trees By Game, Snoop Dogg has both MerryJane.com and Leafs by Snoop, then Wiz Khalifa with his own strain Khalifa Kush and so many others.

In a statement released earlier this morning, Jay said “Anything I do, I want to do correctly and at the highest level.” Then continued with, “With all the potential in the cannabis industry, Caliva’s expertise and ethos make them the best partners for this endeavor. We want to create something amazing, have fun in the process, do good and bring people along the way.”

Okay Jay go get your coin then!
