After being teased by Tales creator Irv Gotti last month, the new Kanye West song “Brothers” is here!

The song made its debut on BET’s Tales last night. A snippet of “Brothers” was revealed during the two-hour season 2 premiere. The track apparently took two years to perfect, and was originally started back in 2017; but it’s finally out and Murder Inc. Records says they’re proud of how it turned out. Not only is “Brothers” part of the show’s soundtrack, but it was also the basis for the episode.

The new record is unlike anything Ye has done in the past two years. The episode stars, Elijah Kelley, Thomas Q. Jones, and Isaiah Washington. In a recent interview Gotti explained the episode’s storyline saying, “It touches on father-son relationships, family, love, and then of course, two brothers and how they could have fallen out but then they understand what’s truly important—coming together”. He also explained that the song was specifically written for the show and ties into the great male relationships. The song has yet to be officially released, but has been popping up all over the innanets. Stream the full song below thanks to this link from the Twitter account @Jamzupdate1.
