Bobby misses the good ole days, and honestly who doesn’t?
Don’t get us wrong, what artist doesn’t want chart topping albums and sold out tours? BUT once they reach a certain level of fame, many celebs find themselves wishing they could go back to the early days of their career when it was JUST about the art; before all the BS and the politics. Logic took to Twitter today to express just that!
Just want to take a moment and say, Fuck sample clearence. Fuck clearing samples. Fuck people taking all a producers money for not doing shit and fuck the companies that say no just cuz. This is hip hop. I’m tired of replaying shit. Fuck the money. This why mixtapes was so good.

After this, he wasn’t finished and he wasn’t done! Although social media may not be the BEST place to let out your problems, sometimes you JUST need to vent and we get Bobby 100%! He penned a longer message in his notes app that he the screenshotted and tweeted out.

For those who may not have an in-depth knowledge of the music biz, if an artist makes a track that includes a snippet or beat from a previously recorded song, the artist then must get permission sometimes from the original artist or producer or both! We’ve seen so many artists get sued for failure to do this in the past because people do NOT play about their bag! Like Bobby says, unlike albums, with mixtapes, rappers usually have more leeway because bigger artist aren’t usually interested in hunting down smaller artists who aren’t really profiting off the songs. Logic did leave things on a more positive note, saying that this project is his best work to date!
That being said this album is still the hardest shit I’ve ever made 🙌🏼 #COADM I love y’all! #RattPack
